John Josephakis is Global Vice President for HPC, AI, and Supercomputing at NVIDIA, where he leads global supercomputing efforts and go-to-market activities across Sovereign AI, energy, manufacturing, semiconductors, quantum, weather and climate, and higher education research. With more than three decades in high-performance computing and enterprise technology, his career began working with U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories and has remained focused on connecting advanced computing infrastructure with leading research organizations. Since joining NVIDIA in May 2020, he has helped expand the company’s impact across global supercomputing and AI research and has advanced strategic partnerships with the U.S. government, including the DOE Genesis Mission and NSF State and Regional AI Infrastructure Hubs. Previously, John held senior leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Cray, and DataDirect Networks. A frequent industry speaker, he focuses on how accelerated computing and AI are transforming science, infrastructure, and industry. He holds degrees from UT Austin and Saint Edward’s University and is based in Dallas, Texas.
