Nikos Christodoulides is the 8th President of the Republic of Cyprus, having assumed office in 2023. He holds degrees in Political Science, Economics, and International Relations from leading universities in the United States and Greece, including a PhD in Political Science. Before entering political leadership, he built a distinguished diplomatic career spanning nearly two decades, serving as Director of the Diplomatic Office of the President, Government Spokesperson, and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2018 to 2022. He also served as a Lecturer and Research Associate at the University of Cyprus, specializing in post-war history and international affairs.
